Final Gathering of the Greats

Yesterday i had a surprise.. a really NICE surprise..

What am i talking about? Yesterday my frens threw me this 'suprise' party i vie of my going away... a farewell party...! notice that i put inverted commas around the word SURPRISE? that's cos it's wasn't really a surprise after all.. am i confusing you? what i mean is that throughout the past week leading up to the party yesterday.. my frens and my parents (yes. they were in it too) were unwittingly dropping hints in my path...

Me: I haven't seen Pui Yan for a long time...miss her a lot
Ee Vonne: Oh, you'll be seeing her this Friday..!
Me: Eh? What are you talking about? This Friday? Is she playing badminton..?
Ee Vonne: Erm.. no.
Me: Then?
Ee Vonne: You'll see la..!

Wong: Hi Mel.. so you going tonight?
Me: Tonight? what's going on tonight?
Wong: Erm.. i mean, where are you going after this?

Jeng-jeng-jeng...Tip number 2 staring me in the eye..

What to do? hahahahaha.. but it was a great party anyway and it was really sweet and thoughtful of all of them to think of throwing something like this for me,, i'm really touched.. THANK YOU!!

Oh yea.. the best surprise was actually seeing richard there...! i never really imagined that he'd be present.. so yea.. in a way.. i guess it was a SURPRISE! (i'm re-iterating myself) .. i'm so glad he could make it.. hahaha.. even if it meant coming all the way from Subang..

All i did was actually just mingling around.. catching up with my friends.. cos haven't seen them for so long.. then we took loadsa wacky pics... then darren and pui yan and chandran serenaded us with their rendition of 'leaving in a jet plane'... which turned into a for-all sing-a-long..! hahahaha.. really cool..
